The Universal Declaration of Human Rights

Canadians can take great pride in the knowledge that our country played a fundamental role in the creation of the U.D.H.R., a document written to protect dignity and freedom around the world.

Results of the 2008 Canadian Federal Election

This diagram shows the current make-up of the House of Commons. Each square represents an MP's seat. The Conservative Party is currently leading a MINORITY government. As you can see, they control fewer than 50% (less than half) of the seats. Thus, they require the support of some MPs from other party's to pass any legislation. (click on the image to enlarge)
